Royal International Air Tattoo 2012
Despite bad weather (rain...), this year's Air Tattoo once again was a great experience.
Highlights included the first European appearance of the Black Eagles aerobatic team of the Republic of Korea Air Force.
Another highlight was the display of the Polish Mig-29.
Also XH558, the last flying Vulcan could participate after some technical problems so that the typical "Vulcan Howl" was heard over Fairford.
Next there was the Tornado Role Demo of the RAF Typhoon and F-15 displays to see. With 8 hours of flying each day it was a really action-packed program, which made it hard to leave the grandstand even for a short.
